13th Annual Autumn Auction

Our Annual Auction fundraiser will begin with a week-long virtual auction for anyone to browse and bid on items throughout the week. On Friday, November 6th, those who purchased tickets to the event will receive a “Auction Kit” for a fun evening at home, exclusive items will be added to the auction, and we will host a live stream on social media.

There are three (3) ways to participate in our Annual Auction, which raised over $50,000 last year to support the Y's Strong Kid's campaign. Proceeds from this event make it possible for the KV YMCA to continue its financial assistance program for children and families to enjoy all that the Y has to offer.

How Will It Work?

A link to the virtual auction will be available on Friday, October 30th, at which time you can browse items, place bids or even set up proxy bidding. The online auction is open from October 30th - November 6th. 

On November 5th and 6th, our Auction Committee will have your Auction Kit available for pick up or delivery.

On the evening of Friday, November 6th, we invite you to open your auction kit and join us for a live Zoom event at 7pm to connect with your Y family and get in on your chance to win giveaway items.

Single Ticket (includes 1 auction kit): $40
Couples Ticket (includes 2 auction kits): $75

Only 100 tickets will be sold for this years virtual event!

The John Bridge Award began in 2009 with John Bridge as the first recipient in honor of his leadership in the Kennebec Valley YMCA’s Capital Campaign and many other organizations such as United Way of Kennebec Valley, University of Maine and MaineGeneral Health.
