Front Desk Attendant

The KV YMCA is seeking a highly motivated person to be the face of our organization. Greet members, administrative work, answering phones, sell memberships, assist members with Y program information, and deliver a high level of customer service.

Weekday and weekend availability required..Option for additional hours to cover vacations or other's time off or if the Y extends hours of operation.Customer service experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual! FREE YMCA membership included with employment.

Assistant Daycare Teacher

The Assistant Teacher is a 28-32 hour-per-week position in the preschool classroom with some opportunities to substitute in other classrooms.This position is responsible for assisting Lead Teacher in all aspects of the classroom, including developing a program that accepts and nurtures all children in a calm, loving and committed manner.The Assistant Teacher must also communicate effectively with parents and colleagues and monitor the safety and cleanliness of the classroom on a daily basis.

Lifeguards - All Shifts

We are currently seeking part time, early morning lifeguards to work at our Augusta Campus. This is a very flexible position, but AM or PM , year-round or fall/winter/spring availability is a must! Multiple Positions and are willing to train the right candidate on site!

Swim Instructors

Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for students in swimming classes. Instructs swimming lessons as assigned in accordance with YMCA guidelines, having prepared lesson plans accordingly. Develops positive relationships with members and participants and provides motivational support and guidance. Encourages member and parent involvement and identifies potential volunteers. Conveys information on aquatics programs and schedules and as appropriate refers members and participants to other programs. Maintains records as required (i.e. attendance, progress reports, etc.). Attends staff meetings and trainings as scheduled. Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes incident and accident reports as necessary. Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment. Trains and supervises class aides as assigned.

Aquatics Coordinator

To provide the community an inspirational environment for the enrichment of all people, through social, recreational and learning activities. Caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility are the basis for all that we do. Assists in developing, organizing, and implementing high quality aquatic programming. Demonstrates direct leadership, instruction, and motivation for aquatics staff in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes staff and member safety and engagement.

Mondays and Fridays
7:00am to 1:30pm
