Shayna was born and raised on Cape Cod, MA, she made the move to Maine well over a decade ago. Shayna had struggled with her weight and health at points during her life, but through dedicated fitness and a healthy diet was able to take control of her health, she lost over 80 pounds and has kept it off. Shayna's interests and hobbies include hiking with her 2 kids, husband and dog named Beef, crocheting, gardening, cooking, cycling and swimming.

Kim has been a personal trainer at the Kennebec Valley YMCA since 2010. Her goal is to improve the quality of the life of her clients while safely meeting fitness goals

She strives to meet every client at their fitness level, and work with them to improve their overall health. and wellbeing.

Outside the gym Kim is an avid Mountain Biker always looking for ways to challenge her mountain biking skills. She also loves to dance anywhere, and she loves to laugh at simple things. If you happen to see her dancing it would make her day if you joined.

Kims professional certifications specialties Include: W.I.T.S personal training, Foundations in Senior Fitness, LIVESTRONG Cancer Survivor Instructor, Fitness for Chronic Conditions, Trigger Point Release Specialist, ACE Group Exercise Instructor, and SilverSneakers Instructor.

Peter Spiegel is a fitness educator, podcaster, and father with 20+ years experience in coaching and education. He is the founder of multiple startups focusing on health and wellness and works full time as a health consultant for individuals and small businesses.

As a health educator, Peter is focused on getting clients to relearn how to learn as an adult & put new skills into the context of a busy adult life. This metacognitive approach to adult fitness training leads to major changes in health from minor adjustments in lifestyle for his clients.
